The Hotel De France is located in the centre of Evian, with restaurants, bars and pubs less than 100 m away. The lake is about 200 m away while skiing areas lie about 15 km away. The Evian mineral water bottling factory is about 5 km away.

On the motorway through Switzerland - take the VILLENEUVE exit 25 km from Evian. By train: SNCF train station in Evian with daily services to Paris via Bellegarde and direct TGV (high speed train) services between Paris and Evian at weekends in winter and summer seasons. By air: Geneva International Airport, 50 km from Evian. By boat: There is a daily service between Evian and Lausanne throughout the year. The crossing takes 35 minutes. The hotel is located in the centre of Evian. Arrive at the ""Parking du centre"" located below the primary school, then turn to the left to the ""P Htel de France"".
